As you may have read in my last post about my trip to Dubrovnik, I explored the islands that are close to Dubrovnik. I took a lot of pictures there and wanted to share them with you as the islands were so stunning! The islands I visited were the islands of Lokrum, Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep. If you are visiting Dubrovnik, there is a 3 island boat tour of the Elaphiti Islands and you can also get a water taxi from the harbour in the Old Town to the island of Lokrum.

I loved exploring these new places, the water was so clear and blue! If you’re heading to Dubrovnik for a week I really recommend trying to see outside of the town of Dubrovnik. It’s very easy to book trips and get tickets, just head to the Old Town and go to the harbour. They are all similar prices and you can choose which islands you would like to explore. As they’re so small, there isn’t a lot there but if you’re looking to do something different, it’s a fun way to spend a day or two. In the future I can imagine they’ll be filled with tourists, but at the moment they’re very relaxing to wander around.

Dubrovnik is a great destination for travellers; but I was not know its islands. So, it’s clear that they’ve to be in to do list. Great post indeed..
