Travel companies all travellers must know!

Some of the links in this article may contain "affiliate links", a link with a special tracking code. This means if you click on an affiliate link and purchase the item, I will receive a small affiliate commission. The price of the item is the same whether it is an affiliate link or not. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I believe will add value to my readers.

Planning a trip abroad can be a little daunting if you don’t know where to begin so here is where I can help! I’ve put together a list of companies that might be able to help you out with different aspects of travelling. These companies are a good place to start especially if you’re looking to travel as a solo traveller. These are some of the companies I’ve been looking into to start my travels off next year. The tour companies all look really fun and I love the idea of travelling as part of an organised group so have a look below if you’re thinking of going travelling but not sure where to begin.

Travel Tour Companies

Contiki

Topdeck

G Adventures

Travel Talk Tours

Gap360

Location specific but looks too good not to include Intro Travel

A couple of weeks back I wrote about the week I had with Medsailors, and it got me looking at different companies that do week long trips onboard a boat. There are a few options and some of them seem a little bit more party than others, but here are the ones that have some interesting reviews online.

Sea Adventures

The Yacht Week

Medsailors – read about my adventure with Medsailors here.

Seascape Adventures

Sail Week

Volunteering Abroad

IVHQ

Go abroad

Go overseas

Plan My Gap Year

Something else I’ve been looking at is volunteering abroad and using a placement to stay in one place for a while. I love the idea of helping out and getting to explore a new place at the same time which is why I’ve included the four companies above, as they have some amazing volunteer opportunities. IVHQ has so much information on their website too so if you’re unsure if volunteering is right for you, you can online chat on their website. Have you come across any amazing travel companies that are good for touring, sailing or volunteering?
