Something I’ve wanted to do for a while, is share a few of my favourite travel blogs / podcasts / Instagram accounts. I love following inspiring people who make me want to travel more and also blogs that have some great travel advice. I’ve only got 5 per post so I can share a little bit about them, but I’ll leave all links below so you can find them for yourself!
Today, I wanted to share five of my favourite travel blogs which I read on a regular basis. They are all female travel bloggers and all have really useful advice for solo travel.
Chloe is one blogger who I always have a look at when I’m planning my next trip as she has been to SO many places. She reviews hotels and experiences on her blog but also explores the UK a lot, which I really enjoy reading about. My favourite posts on Wanderlust Chloe are her posts all about Jordan and exploring Petra, which is somewhere at the top of my list! If you want to take a look at her blog, click the link above or alternatively follow her on social media on her links here, here and here.
Ciara is a travel blog I love to read as she gives really useful advice on how to incorporate travel into everyday life no matter what stage of life you’re in. Ciara did study trips abroad and gives advice about money and saving as well as travelling on the cheap. My favourite post of Ciara’s is about how to take beautiful photos while travelling solo and she has so many posts on staying safe and travelling alone as a female. If you’re interested in finding out more about Ciara, you can follow her on social media here and here.
I love the quote that Charlie has on her blog, “Not all those who wander are lost”, it sums up her travel content beautifully and she has been to a lot of places. Charlie had the goal of visiting 30 places before 30 and after achieving that, decided to do 50 before 40. She’s a total inspiration and I love that her blog covers so much of Asia! My favourite post is her documenting her day trip to Lake Bled with loads of useful advice and hints and tips to make the most of your trip. Follow Charlie on social media here and here.
Be My Travel Muse is a huge resource of travel inspiration whether that is planning trips or looking for online resources to help pack. Kristin has her own travel memoir as well as e-books and guides to every aspect of travel. Kristin also runs her own adventure tours which include activities such as yoga and diving. Kristin’s website has a huge following and is known as one of the best travel blogs for solo travel. Be My Travel Muse has so much information I love spending time reading her blog posts. Find Kristin here and here.
Gabby is a blogger I’ve only recently found, and I devoured her site! I love that she’s always wanted to travel and made it happen with her determination. According to her website about page, she’s working full time as an engineer at the moment to be able to travel and I love this! She has some amazing study abroad tips as well as ways to travel around your job so if you’re currently working, have a look! You can find more of Gabby here and here.
I hope you like this style of post as I think it’s a great way to share the love and get some travel inspiration. I’ve got so many more amazing bloggers to share so will do one of these posts every few weeks!
All images belong to the bloggers respectively!
I post once a week covering topics such as solo travel, working and living abroad and also creating Gabriella’s Guides to places I have been. I cover topics under the following categories such as Planning and Packing, The Travel Diary, Travel Inspiration, Photo Diaries, Gabriella’s Guides and Working Abroad.
