Throwing it back two years ago to when I took my canon to New York but never knew how to edit pictures, I went to New York for my 21st birthday and I celebrated my 23rd this week so thought I’d share some pictures I took whilst I was there in a photo diary post for you! I went to the typical tourist destinations as I’d never been and was only there for two days, but I had the most amazing time and if anything, looking back on the pictures just makes me determined to return there for a longer period of time!

On my birthday we decided to have breakfast at Tiffanys, so got a takeaway breakfast from a bakery and ate it while looking around outside the shop. Cliche, I know, but I loved it.

This was the hotel I stayed in, The Salisbury which was perfectly located. I loved the building itself, felt like I had stepped into an episode of American Horror Story.

Have you ever been to New York? I can’t wait to return one day and am hoping to do a lot more while I am there. Did you go to any of the touristy places? What was your favourite place?
