New York in November

For my 21st birthday I had the amazing gift of a once in a lifetime trip to New York City in November! This trip was quite a while ago but it is always one I look back on as I loved it so much. I don’t want to join in with the usual NYC travel guides as I know there are already some really amazing ones out there. Instead I wanted to share a photo diary of my time there as I loved taking pictures and looking back on them. New York in November was so stunning, I loved visiting in the cold but really want to return in the summer at some point too.

I went to the typical tourist destinations as I’d never been and was only there for two days, but I had the most amazing time and if anything, looking back on the pictures just makes me determined to return there for a longer period of time!

The typical traffic in NYC shot, I loved the yellow cabs and driving through the streets. At night everything was so lit up and I was so excited to be there.

As you can go up both the Empire State building and to the Top of the Rock, you can get amazing views of the city. I loved this view over Central Park as it makes the city look so beautiful.

On my birthday we decided to have breakfast at Tiffanys, so got a takeaway breakfast from a bakery and ate it while looking around outside the shop. Cliche, I know, but I loved it.

Of course, we had to walk across Brooklyn Bridge!

This was the hotel I stayed in, The Salisbury which was perfectly located. I loved the building itself, felt like I had stepped into an episode of American Horror Story.

5th Avenue was as expected and my god, the shops were stunning even from the outside.

Have you ever been to New York? I can’t wait to return one day and am hoping to do a lot more while I am there. Did you go to any of the touristy places? What was your favourite place?

I recently returned to NYC and wrote a post about what you can do when walking the city yourself! How I walked most of NYC in a day Have a look if you’re heading to NYC soon!
