Having lived and worked in Tenerife the last eight months, I think it’s time I share some of my favourite images of what I’ve been up to and where I’ve explored. I’m also working on a huge post all about Tenerife so hoping that will be up in next weeks post.
Kayaking in Los Gigantes
A day out climbing Montana Amarilla
Jet-skiing in Los Gigantes
An afternoon at the Los Cristianos rock pools and beach bar
The beach where I learnt to scuba dive – Abades bay
The sunset at one of the nicest hotels – GF Costa Adeje Gran
Exploring past La Caleta beach
Onboard the Seaquest – dolphin watching
Finding more rockpools!
Church in the centre of Candelaria
Finding more quiet little beaches and ocean ladders in unknown places!
Tenerife was a great place to spend eight months but it is a pretty small island so I did get to see a lot of it. I loved being near beautiful beaches but definitely loved finding quiet or unknown ones instead of heading to the busy places. If you are heading to Tenerife any time soon I would recommend you get a car and drive around the island to see all the different parts. The south is very busy and popular but I think there are really stunning places all around the island. As for a location update from me I will be in Andorra at the time this is published and learning how to ski!
I post once a week covering topics such as solo travel, working and living abroad and also creating Gabriella’s Guides to places I have been. I cover topics under the following categories such as Planning and Packing, The Travel Diary, Travel Inspiration, Photo Diaries, Gabriella’s Guides and Working Abroad.
